Keith Dudek

Keith Dudek's favorite Humes & Berg products

Born and raised in the Detroit area, Keith Dudek first began playing drums at the age of 11 after joining the school band. By high school, Keith played drums in a number of groups including various rock bands, school jazz band, and a wedding/polka band before heading to college.

Once in college for Music Education, he played in the Big Band and studied under RUpert Kettle. Keith had the honor and privilege to open up for the Buddy Rich Band during his time at the University. He also began doing session work and live gigs with numerous bands in the area. Desiring to improve his drumset chops, he marched three seasons with Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps on snare. They went on to win the 1988 DCI World Championship and toured Europe.

After drum corps, he began playing for several churches and continued doing session work as well as performing with different regional bands. Over the next 10 years, he had the opportunity to record and tour with Steve Raybine and also with Jolie Edwards. He went on two USO tours and the Count Gold Festival.

Wanting to take his career to a whole new level, Keith moved to Nashville, TN. Turns out that was the right decision. He continues to perform at the World Outreach Church and has done serveral clinics at the PAS TN Day of Percussion. He has had the pleasure of performing with Kevin Sharp, Ty Hurndon, Rick Huckaby, Pam Tillis, Glen Templeton, Matt Stillwell, Jamie O'Neal, Collin Raye, Scotty McCreery, and Lee Greenwood.
